REGISTRATION

Registration is taking place at the Congress venue, in REDUTA building (the site of Slovak Philharmonic).
Address: Námestie E. Suchoňa (E. Suchoň Square) No. 1, 811 01 Bratislava.
The entrance to the registration & Congress is possible only from the direction of E. Suchoňa Square („Slovenska filharmonia“ on the map), which is the main entrance to
the building.

Please note that entry to the building is reserved for registered conference participants only. At the registration desk, you will receive a badge with your name, programme information and the tickets (if purchased in advance).

ALWAYS CARRY YOUR BADGE WITH YOU. The badge will serve to allow your entry to the congress venue and the programme.

OTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS

The INFOPOINT will be located on the ground floor, in the same place as the registration and PAYMENTS/CASH REGISTER for additional payments (if needed).

The congress venue is a historical site with architectural value. Drinks and food are forbidden, both in the main Concert Hall and the Small Hall (except for official catering in the Small Hall during the Welcome Mixer).
Lectures will be held on the first floor where both the Concert Hall and the Small Hall are located.

LECTURES

To ensure a smooth lecture, all presenters must contact the technician well in advance of their lecture. It is strongly recommended to record the lectures on the technical support computers. Compatibility with multiple operating systems will be available. As well, a dedicated computer will be available in a separate room to check your presentation.
Record your presentation no later than 8:30 a.m. for morning blocks and 12:00 p.m. (after lectures) for afternoon blocks (including shorter invited talks). We shall have a digital screen (10×4 m) in the Concert Hall that requires a special pointer. Make sure that the embedded images, etc., have a sufficiently high resolution. Therefore, each presentation has to be checked in advance. If for some reason you want to use your own computer in the main Concert Hall, you must install the Logitech Presentation software from: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-za/articles/360025141634-Logitech-Presentation-
Note the small sign on l.h.s. to select the Operating System.

As our schedule is very tight, please keep your lecture to the allotted time and remember to leave time space for discussion.

POSTERS

Posters will be located on several floors. Notation A, B, and C differentiates the poster sessions on different days. Numbering for each poster session remains. Follow the information system to find a place to attach your poster.
On site, use only the fastening material provided by us in sufficient quantity. The use of other materials can damage the boards, which may lead to a claim for financial compensation.

Posters can be hung at any time on the day of the presentation when they are scheduled according to the programme. Posters must be removed at the end of a given poster session.

CHARGING YOUR DEVICE

There are limited options for charging in the Congress space on the first floor. Therefore, a CHARGING HUB will be specially prepared on the ground floor and a person in charge over there will assist you.

BANQUET AND EXCURSIONS

Those who assigned for the Banquet (29/06/2023 at 19:00) will get the tickets at the registration (inside the badge).
The Banquet will take place in Radisson Blu Carlton Hotel Bratislava across the street from the Congress venue. Address: Hviezdoslavovo námestie (Hviezdoslav Square) No. 3.
Please do not forget to bring your badge and the Banquet Ticket with you to the dinner.
Excursions:
The meeting point for all excursions will be in front of the main entrance to the congress. The exact departure time will be sent to you by email. Prepaid tickets for excursions will be provided upon registration. Depending on a free capacity, some excursions can be still purchased at the registration desk.
